Definetely the best place we\'ve stayed at in Turkey. We\'ve enjoyed every minute in Goreme and the Shoestring ( especially the breakfast mmmm menemen... ). Eveyone at shoestring have been so friendly and helpful and have made our stay that much more special. Extra thanx to Hayrullah who is without doubt the happiest chef i have ever met.

your hospitality, advice and assistance msut surely be the best in Goreme.
Yes, indeed, Goreme has been all good and a lot of its goodness is contained in the tasty French toast that Hayrullah makes for brekkie. Bit scared of vegimite, Though, ( Yes, there are some Aussies who are )but it was very comforting to see that it was on the menu.
We loved our room ( and the spacious bathroom )and all the amazing views around Goreme.
Anyway, thanx so much for everything. Look after yourselves. Maybe see you on our next Trip to Turkey. |

I am Ray. I have come from OZ LAND (Brisbane). Have been travelling through Turkey onto Syria etc... Done most of usual stop offs and found Goreme the best place of my visits. Came in winter was quite, just as i like it. But met so many lovely Turkish people and also travellers, Suleyman and Oktay have been excellent hosts here in the hotel and very helpful with all information required. Unhappy to leave, but i came for 2 days and stayed 6. Thank you for all of you guys, its been great. Ray. |

Thanks for taking such a great care of us! We have really enjoyed our stay at the Shoestring the relaxed atmosphere, the AMAZING bbq and breakfast, as well as the cleanliness!
We will most certainly suggest the shoestring to other travellers and our friends at home. Other hotels that we will stay will have a difficult time, meeting the standards set by the shoestring!
